Let Them Talk , Let Them Talk , Let Then Talk

I was flipping through a magazine in class (it was art and required) and a fell on a women with a gap. I thought she was soo pretty but the boys at my table thought other wise. All just because of her gap.

Growing up I always was insecure about my smile because I too have a gap. My mother and father had a gap so I was doomed to have one also. In elementary school people thought it was adorable being that I was so young.

But once junior hs started I was constantly bombarded with questions like'when are you getting braces?'Or'why dont you close ya gap up'. And soon enough i stopped smiling 'tooth-y' smiles.I would beg my mother night and day to get me braces. Never got them.

Now in high school I still get asked these questions but it doesn't bother me as much as it used too. Every once in a while I wonder why people close their gaps. I'll probably not close my gap but I only wish I could flaunt mine as well as these models do (or even half as well would be good enough for me)...

(probably the only picture you'll find with my gap broadcast-ed visible.
